Overview
Canine Partners of the Rockies raises, trains and places Mobility Service Dogs and Facility Dogs. The Mobility Service Dogs helps Coloradans with disabilities do tasks such as turning on lights, picking up dropped objects, opening and closing doors — and much more! The Facility Dogs assist individuals with emotional, neurological or physical disabilities in classrooms, clinical or hospital environments. Canine Partners does not train emotional support dogs or personal dogs to become assistance dogs.
Canine Partners wants to ensure a seamless and equitable through this multi-step application process that can span several months. Throughout the application process, we ensure transparency and updates for applicants throughout. There is no placement fee for Mobility Service Dogs. However, for Facility Dogs, a placement fee is applicable, payable on the first day of Team Training.

Canine Partners firmly believes in affording all applicants the opportunity to be considered for an assistance dog without any form of discrimination. This includes factors such as race, gender, religion, age, national origin, sexual orientation, life expectancy, and any other category protected by federal law, Colorado state law, or local regulations. While committed to equal opportunities, Canine Partners reserves the right to terminate the application process or deny an application at any time.
