"If you love dogs, look no further! It is an amazingly rewarding opportunity in which you receive as much as you give."
"Not only will the pups you raise bring you great joy but the Canine Partners community is a group of the most sincere, warm, caring, loving people you'll meet."
"If you love dogs and you are willing to put in the time and learn as the trainer teaches you, it will be one of the most powerful experiences of your life!"
Mina found it very self-satisfying to witness how the dogs have helped the disabled live more independent lives, lives that most of us take for granted.
We began raising puppies for Canine Partners of the Rockies in 2001, when my two boys were in elementary school.
I was just going to be a puppy sitter, but when Zeb and his sister Zuni arrived at CaPR I opened my home and heart to Zeb or as my grand children call him, Zebby.
Being involved in CAPR as a whole has helped me in many ways, by connecting me to other like-minded, dog loving individuals who are now friends.
Raising the 4 puppies that we have been lucky to do, has given us a new appreciation for the training of service dogs.
Being a raiser has shown me the impact a service dog has in someone’s life and the importance of their love and connection.
